Buzzard Glory Farm & Flowers

Come to Henderson County Public Library to hear Meredith Alexander speak about her farm. Buzzard Glory Farm & Flowers is a small-scale, diversified farm outside of Biggsville. They currently grow vegetables throughout the summer for their CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), an 18-week vegetable subscription program. Cut flowers are also grown on the farm and used for custom wedding floral design. They grow all of their food and flowers without the use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Soil health and biological diversity are key values as we look towards the future. They have started planting hundreds of trees on their farm as they move toward perennial production systems that will increase ecological benefits and decrease off-farm inputs.
