Presented by Patty Nieman

The joy of audiobook narration — my role in the creative, collaborative process of moving an author’s words from the page to the people.

Patty Nieman brings intelligence, elegance, warmth and wit to her work as a singer, actress and audiobook narrator. Select performing credits include Off-Broadway (The Awakening of Angel DeLuna), The Guthrie Theater (Babes in Arms, Christmas Carol), Ordway Center (Hot ‘n Cole, Anything Goes, A Little Night Music), Arizona Theatre Company (Jane Austen’s Emma) and numerous developmental musical theater projects, including seven seasons at the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program at NYU’s Tisch School. She has also worked with The History Theatre (Sisters of Swing: Story of the Andrews Sisters); Illusion Theater (Tell Me on a Sunday, Vanishing Point, Two Weeks with the Queen); Vocal Essence (Most Happy Fella); and North Star Opera (She Loves Me). Favorite audiobook projects include ShadowManWomen in the Picture and The Professor of Immortality.
